As an aspiring photographer I am primarily interested in photographing birds and animals in their natural environment. I have always enjoyed being outdoors and living in South Africa we are privileged to have many world class game and nature reserves on our doorstep.Having recently retired I now have the opportunity to visit places with photographic opportunities and the challenge of taking inspiring photographs of birds, wildlife and nature in general.I have no formal training in photography and my knowledge gained so far has been mostly from watching You Tube videos presented by professional photographers. I view every photo shoot as an opportunity to capture those special moments and share them with my friends and family.Please browse my gallery to see my work.

Welcome to my portfolio, which is still in its infancy. I am on a never-ending journey to try new mediums and experiment with new ideas to learn and grow my talent. I am not formally trained and am learning as I experiment. All art mediums have their unique characteristics and the challenge for me is to develop my own style with each different medium. I particularly enjoy the outdoors, wildlife and nature of all kinds and am lucky to have a personal photographer in Dave to capture anything that takes my fancy.
